This past month in Guidance classes across the grades, we have been discussing empathy or the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. Empathy helps create successful, happy kids, who are kind, moral, courageous and resilient.
Caring about other's is not just about playing nice; it is skill that is vital for children's well-being, mental health and leadership skills. This holiday season, students have been doing a great job showing they care and expressing empathy through out their school day, during after school clubs and through volunteer work.
